Car won't start

Asked by JRobertson4 Feb 10, 2018 at 12:31 PM about the 2007 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 230 Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has a good battery, is getting fuel, has
spark. The alternator is good and all my relays and
fuses are good also. I try to start it and it wants to
start but will not turn over to run. Any thoughts?.
Possibly master flow sensor, crank shaft sensor,
even throttle body?

Try starting fluid through the throttle plate to see if it will run If so it's a problem with either the fuel pump , fuel filter or the fuel pressure regulator

Adding to the first posters response concerning fuel. Did you pull the hose off the FPR to see if any fuel comes out there? If so the regulator is no good. Can you verify if the injectors will pulse when cranking? Might want to pull the crank sensor out and try an ohm test.
