I have had my ford edge 2007 for years. It never really given me problems until now. It shut off when I am driving it. Won't let me get over 40 start to shaking and shut down. Anyone can help me with this problem.

Your fuel pump may be the issue, whether its clogged, not getting the proper voltage it needs to operate, or has an internal leak. It basically causes rough idle, hesitation, and stalling on acceleration
