Audi a4 wont start

I have an Audi A4 2.0 TDI 2007. I started having issues where the car would
only start on the 2nd swing. Then it turned into the 8th or so swing and now it
wont start at all. When i swing i can hear 1 tick and it sounds like pressure
being pushed but nothing happens. If i hold the key in the ignite position then
some smoke will come out of the engine. Tested the battery, that's fine. Also
tried jump starting, doesn't work. What else could i check?
