How can I tell which fuse is for the Electronic Throttle Control System? Manual
is no help.

I don't think the ETC has a fuse. If there is a problem you can scan for codes and probably get a code P2174. There is a Dodge service bulletin for the Caliber, it is TSB 18-034-07. I would ask how much they charge for this repair. You might be able to just replace the "electronic gas pedal" is what I call it. Then you can reprogram it like this: with engine Off, turn the key to On. Slowly press the gas pedal to the floor and slowly back up. Take 30 seconds down.....30 seconds back up. Google this problem if you want more info. I never did one, but that's what I would do first.
