My turn signal won't turn off

Asked by just_jake Feb 04, 2013 at 11:03 AM about the 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My turn signal is stuck on. I can change it to
left/right when I need to, but when it's just
in the middle (off) position,  my right blinker
stays on. The only way to get it to stay off is
to hold the switch all the way up. It is
frustrating.

It sounds like the contact is bad at the switch. You may need a new switch. The other area to look at is the four way flasher relay. Many times this relay switch contributes to the symptom you decribed. Good luck with the repair. Chris

I agree. It's called a multi-function switch.
