How to use the fuel range

Asked by Brucedavid Mar 13, 2017 at 07:48 PM about the 2000 Buick Park Avenue FWD

Question type: General

My gas gauge doesnt work so how do i use
the fuel range option on the dash

1 Answer

If the gas gauge does not work then the range may not either. I would use the gas tank size in gallons and estimate your fuel economy. Multiply the two to get the maximum range and then subtract about 25% to be on the safe side. Reset your trip meter and when you get close to the magic number start looking for a gas station.
