When I turn the ignition key on to start my 2002 Buick Park Avenue 3800, the fuse blows for the ignition control module. Is this a common issue and where would I start troubleshooting on this problem?

The 10 amp fuse for the control module blow as soon as the key is turned to the run
position.

Wait disconnect battery for 5 mins both ground and positive then replace fuse... Connect battery then give it a try.... It could be a safe mode active....
