2002 Buick Park Ave jerks going down the road bad

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car runs horrible it jerks alot at times but only bogs down when you give it any gas. Its
hard to get over 40 mph at times and you can watch the fuel gauge go down almost for the
fuel its consuming. I replaced the ignition module and coil packs. no change. could it be
fuel pump or filter possibly>?

Could be. It also sounds like an emissions problem. Maybe a bad catalytic converter and or O2 Any CEL's on the dashboard?.
