I have a misfire on coil number 5 what causes this? and what do i need to do to fix this?

sometimes when I start it,  it for lack of
better words  putters and does not run  
right but after I wiggle and play with the
coil wires it will start and run perfectly fine

well coil runs so its fine but you have to play with the wires to make it run sounds like a bad connection your connector is worn out. you might get away with taking the connector off and cleaning it. you should follow the wire you are pulling to make it start and check its connections to make sure the wire is not loose.
