Volt light

Asked by Daisy81587 Nov 11, 2018 at 10:45 PM about the 2004 Buick Park Avenue Ultra FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Park Avenue. My Volt light
came on while I was driving. When it did, all
the lights dimmed. At one point, wouldn't
start at all. Had both the battery and the
alternator checked and they were fine. Both
are fairly new, about 3 years old. Thought it
was just a loose wire because once we
tightened everything down, the light stayed
off for about a day but now it is coming back
on. It doesn't stay lit. It just comes on for
awhile, all lights (inside and out) dim, and
then it goes back off and everything returns
to normal. Any ideas what could be wrong?
