Will a 2000 model trailblazer transmission fit in my
1997 chevy blazer?

As long as they are both behind a 4.3, yes. I'm not sure if you mean the trailblazer package blazer or and actual trailblazer.

The one that had the transmission blow is a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer 4 wheel dive. It's my son's and I'm not a car person, so sorry if I don't know answers. Saw a post of someone with a 1997 Trailblazer and he may be parting out. If the transmission would work to repair the 2005, it would be awesome. And thank you so much for your quick reply!
