put new tranny in would nt go in gear  running put new clutch cable cant adjust it old one had some tension on is could washers help old one?

take help of a dealer as this one sounds slippery :-)

My reccomendation is to take it to a specialized shop on dealing with transmissions

This happened to me also. Dropped in new clutch n could not het it into gear,finally i noticed that the clutch fork arm still had play n imodified the hole arm. I rotated the arm counter clock wise bout an eighth of a turn and welded it back on. Now working fine.

    Was able to drive around and shift correctly... After i replace cabel and clutch truck turn in same way but this time i wouldnt shift in any gear... If pick up was off it would shiftat all..
