My 2003 z4 bmw is running rough at isle and the idiot lights are on. Changed the car bateery and the problems still exist. Any thoughts?

Put a battery charger on the battery located in the trunk. Would not crank and so I bought new battery. Now the car idles rough and the warning lights for the brake, eml and engine are on.

You need to take it to part,s store and have them scan it,to find the issue.
