Replacing the timing chain guide rail 1998 Z3 1.9 liter

The guide ralis show little wear, is it necessary to replace the guides as a preventive measure, as I am changing the timing chain.

if you already have the chain out you might as well, the material they are made of does tend to become fragile after a while.
