would a volvo v50 T5 with 117000 miles for $11000 be a good deal

great car! long lasting, handle well, t5 gives great power, no major problems with this model. I bought a 2005 v50 t5 awd fully loaded (all packages) with 87k miles for $10,000 6 months ago. so I would try to bargain the price. make sure oil has been full synthetic and changed regularly, and all other paper work is up to date.

Please ask whether or not the timing belt had been replaced, and check the turbo to make sure it works well.
