Can't open rear door

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The rear door will not open from the outside handle, even though central locking is indicating that it is unlocked. Can't open it from the inside because the child lock is on.
Any ideas?

The manual pull system for the outside handle does not work. The inside handle is disengaged by the child lock system....

Try repeatedly operating the unlock switch to the top right of drivers door. At the same time second person repeatedly pulls on inside door release handle with one hand and pushes to open the door with the other hand . This worked for me on my 2013 V40.
