Bad gas put in my 2001 Volvo

Should I stiffen out he bad gass and add a fuel cleaner (lux) etc abpnd add 91 octane
sheik or chevron gas!
After my son added bad gas it started chugging and jerking forward and stopped if I kept
it under 20 miles per hour. Help!
