Why does my driver door lock frequently not engage and the trunk lock opens spontaneously?

Asked by bsmith1029 Jun 17, 2015 at 07:24 AM about the 2006 Hyundai Azera Limited FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Hyundai Azera Limited.  The driver door lock frequently will not engage
when using the remote to lock the vehicle or when pushing the lock all doors button.  In
addition, possibly unrelated, the trunk lock opens, at random, frequently during the night,
and sets off the alarm.  Sounds electrical.  Any ideas?
