how i know if gasket is blown in chevrolet malibu ls 1998

valve cover gasket will leak oil all over of the engine. if its the head gasket you will over heat all the time white smoke out the exhaust and oil will look like a chocolate milk shake, or leak anti freeze between the head and block to the ground.

Plz explain more to me if gasket is blown i see like milk in engine only or also in box of antifreez liquid help me plz and what are the problems to know thx

you'll see it in the antifreeze bottle and under the fill cap for the oil. and on the dip stick. do you have white steamy smoke out the exhaust that has a sweet smell to it ?

I will explain to u from 2days i check up rhe antifreeze if it is down and i forger to close food in evening it still little water inside it bout isaw around the bottle little kind of something they said to me that from antifreeze . I want to tell u that the remparature is runing normal and there is no white milky in engine and if gasket is blown it still the car work normally or no.thx

if the gasket is blown the car will not run normal . it will misfire and blow white smoke out the back & eventually overheat.

But i was explain that it was a line of liquos around the box of antifreeze. iwas afraod from that
