The funny thing is, A spare tire is needed for a safety. Call the dealer and ask where the tire is. How long ago did he but the car? The dealer will say "It was there, What did you do with it" I would recommend that you and your son go into the dealer and go with "cool" heads, The moment a voice gets raised the dealer will tell you to take a hike. Just ask the dealer were the tire is on this model and ask him to show you. Best of luck.

Yes, I have never heard of a vehicle that did not come with a spare tire of some kind. Is there a hole for it under the trunk floorboard, and it's just missing?

I assume you are talking about an Audi? Open the trunk, pull up what could be considered the carpet at the back of the trunk. The spare, jack and all the tools are there. If they are not, someone has stolen them. Audi does not give out "donut" tires. They are a German company that believes in honest REAL spare tires and rims.

The TT does not have a spare. However, there is a tire repair kit. If you install good tires, you shouldn't get a flat. Get AAA. There isn't enough room for a spare tire. You aren't paying Audi for tires, so your statement makes no sense. Also, if you paid $30000 for it used, you got ripped off. They are way less expensive than that.

No, that's not correct the 3.2 DSG cars have no spares. They only have tire repair kits. The 180s and 225s have the mini doughnuts. The 3.2 put the batteries back there and that sucks up any space for any spare tire.

Some TT's came with runflat tires. The spare was not included in those models. If someone replaced the tires with other then runflats they should have bought a space saver for under the rear carpet. If there is styrofoam back there instead of a tire you can bet it had runflats.

none came with runflats in the uk the 150,180,225 came with a dounut. the V6 came with a tyre repair kit as the engine was too big for the engine bay, so they moved the battery to the spare wheel well and provided a can of tyre goo and an electric pump. it is only a legal requirement to have a method for the vehicle to be able to be moved to a safe place, therefore spare wheel, run flats or tyre repair.

I am so amused to read that anyone owns a car, of any type, year, model age etc., and actually drives it not knowing if the car has a spare tire or not, tools to change a tire etc. How can anyone be allowed to drive a vehicle if they know nothing about it? What a brave new world we are in.

There is one type of doughnut apare tire and wheel for the VW GTI 18" doughnut spare that matches the lug space and rolling stock of the 2013 audi TT. Does anyone have that one model?

Several Car Companies are migrating to a SPAIRLESS Spair tyre. What they give you instead is a tyre inflator and a bottle of GREEN SLIME tyre cement!!! So what happens if you hit a 15mm BOLT at 80 mph and it shreads your SIDEWALL. The Audi Manual says 'Bend Over and Kiss your Ask goodbye". If you your manual's advice TO THE LETTER, we, the Volkswagen Corporation will write you a letter of introduction to CIRC SOLIE as they always are in the market for a CONTORTIONIST/Volkswagen/Audi/Porsche Customer!!!

No spare means 0.01 more mpg! The EPA gets what it wants over your needs and safety. Think about that!

I don't understand. The Audi TTs 2013 has the space for a spare tire, so it comes from the factory like that, but does not have a spare tire? That's stupid

I have a 2019 Audi TTRS and it is a great little car. I also live on Long Island, and there are a LOT of really bad potholes on most of the roads, even newly paved roads. I guess we do not know how to build roads or properly patch them here. In any case, with the low profile tires on the TTRS, the potholes tear them up instantly. I have seen the SEVERE TIRE DAMAGE notice flash on my screen too many times! I have tire and wheel insurance and I have had to get 7 tires replaced because of hitting bad potholes. I am a careful driver, but it is a real problem on Long island. In the rain you can barely see them and they are deep! I have asked Audi if they make an All Weather tire or a beefier tire, and they have told me no. You can either put the Summer tires or Snow tires on the car. There is no All Weather tire available. The can of Fix-a-flat in the trunk is a joke, because it cannot fix a tear in a sidewall, which is what you get when you hit a deep pothole. A donut tire was not included because they wanted to make the care as light as possible. The car is very fast, but at this point I would sacrifice 1/10 of a second in speed and put a donut in the back. There does seem to be enough room for the donut, but they just do not include it or even offer it. Also, Audi roadside assistance is terrible here too. There are more flat bed tow trucks on Long Island than most places, but if you get a flat after 5PM, Audi cannot help you until the next day. They told me to leave the key in the car and the tow truck person would give it to the dealer. I asked the person to repeat what she said, then I laughed. There is NO WAY that I am going to leave a $70K car on the side of the road, unlocked with the key in it and hope it won't get stolen in NY. That's hysterical. The car would be long gone by then. If I was far from home, I would be stranded on the side of the road, freezing to death, waiting until the next day to get Audi Roadside Assistance to get to me! What a joke!
