you have alot of questions to ask about this car all service wise. Some of the really concerning questions are 1. When was the timing belt replaced? 2. when was the last time the oil was changed ? 3. when was the lat time the trany was flushed? most of the questions are all regular service questions that need to be done on time or else you risk damage to the engine. Be sure to check for any oil leaks under the car. as well as the ball joints and control arms for loosens. Have an vw dealership take a look at the car and certify it also just to be sure.
