a piece of lens about 3-4" was knocked out off the rear tail-light passengers side.

you have to replace the whole light. Take it off by turning the trunk liner behind the line back and use the twisters to take it off, should be four of them . if you can put it back together cheers but i doubt it all the lights are made as solid pieces so if i chunk came out you either replace the whole thing or glue it back into place. You can find some good lights online at some of the different websites.
