what is wrong with the fuel meter

sometimes my fuel meter reads that i have more fuel than i did a few minutes ago. sometimes i have way less. what is causing this and what can i do to fix it?

Likely it's just after you've taken a turn. I believe it's left-turns that will pull your meter down, but after a few seconds it'll be right at where it should.
