1999 Mazda b4000 running rought a week after a fuel filter change

Asked by Ryan Jun 14, 2017 at 11:35 AM about the 1999 Mazda B-Series B4000 TL 4-Door Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck was studdering when accelerating so I replaced the fuel filter. It ran
better than ever for about a week, but now it's back to losing power when
gassing... What the the most common fixes for this?

Thanks for any advice!

Perhaps you have a lot of dirt in the gas tank and the new filter is dirty. Next time open up the filter and check for dirt. You many want to use a good fuel system cleaner in the gas tank. How long has it been since you tuned the truck up?
