Pretty simple. # screws on the under side of the steering column cover and 2 - T20 Torx head screws hold it in place. Pretty much plug-n-play.

not true. There is a ring around the column behind steering wheel with the tilt wheel lever in it. This will not allow you to simply take out two phillips head screws and remove the plastic cover from the column. The cover goes about an inch or more inside this ring.

I have a 1994 ford ranger. The same vehicle called a ford. It is more complicated than that. There is a ring behind the steering column with the tilt wheel lever going through it that will not allow the plastic cover to be removed simply by taking out the two phillips head screws.
