My 1991 mazda b200 truck engine got wet (not distributor side) the alternator got soaked. I used a dryer to dry the engine and alternator but the truck will turn over but not start. Any suggestions?

Check your spark plug boots to see it water is inside. If you have a distributor check inside for water.

the distributor is on the other side and did not get wet. Only the alternator got very wet

The alternator has nothing to do with the car starting or not. I would check everything but that is me.
