Inside light won't turn off when door is closed

I have a blazer 98 and the lights won't turn off when
I close my door, also when I try to lock the doors
wile inside the passenger door unlocks by itself
when I close the door and  I put the key in the
"beeping" continues as if I still had my door open,
lights on even when driving

Try spray some WD40 into and around the door latch worked when I had that same problem at on time.
