Electrical failure

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Lexus LX 470 (2006) has near total
electrical failure. The battery had died and
to bring it to the shop I went to jump start it
from my other car. It sparked when I
hooked up the cables, and then everything
was out. The guys from the shop brought
over a new battery: they can start the car
but almost nothing works: no dashboard
no locks - cant even get it into gear to drive
it!  Only thing that works is the door ajar
light and maybe the dome lights. They
have checked all the fuses but nothing
appears to be blown - whatight cause this?

Well they tracked it down / the fusible link that connects battery to electrical harness.
