Emergency break

My emergency break light is on and my car
is beeping at me loudly and it
says:Emergency Break on.....but its not! How
can I fix this? I have 2006 volkswagen

so mine says the same thing. all i do i lift slightly from underneath the lever with the top of my foot. it just needs a little extra push and it turns off every time.

Same here! I just got a 06 Touareg and ran into same issue, I give it a lil lift and off it goes. :)
