Car cooling

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello all
I have a 2005 VW Touareg, it runs well but in
the summer I have a problem with the
cooling system. Everytime I park it in the sun
and the dash gets hot my AC won’t work
until it cools down, usually 30 mins. I think it’s
the fan as there a little bit of cold air sleeping
out but definitely not enough to keep you
cool in 100 degree weather! When I park it in
the shade or garage even if the cab is hot
inside the AC works great! What can I do
other than just always parking in shade haha!
Thank you in advance

1 Answer

Change the AC blower resistor..its a small blueish greenish thingie..and all will be good
