cam relutor wheel on a 99 tracker

on a 99 chevy tracker does anyone know how to line up cam reluctor on camshaft ?

turn crank to where the pin & grove is straight up,on cam gear their is a dot,line them up ,dot to pin,replace chain or belt,dont adj to tight or to loose,will jump time.
