clicking under dash after key turned off then wont start or anything. no lights,dome or anything

installed new battery,went to start it and when I turned the key,everything just
went dead and when I turned key back to off I heard a clicking under the dash
and it wont do anything now.please help,this is my tranportation for my grand

Double check your connections to the new battery. Is the polarity correct?

As long as the red and black caps were right when I took them off the battery. I show continuity between the pos on the fuse block and ground. It should show 12v. Right?

Went back and looked again and the rubber around the cable terminal wasn't letting the cable contact the battery. Thanks for the help
