Had it run on a machine at auto zone
and they said it was misfire or
oxygen sensor! Changed all plugs
and wires .

a bad ground...1/0 battery cable to chassis connection should be free of corrosion...with every start this one creates a "semi-conductor" condition...wirebrush this connection to allow "clean" power to the ECU~

when you've provides a full GROUNDed 12 volts to all components....reset the trouble codes using that device~

99 tahoe. is it the 5.7 v8 or the 5.3?

a defective MAP or 02 will show on your "re-up" after reset~...that's what I was getting at with the B9 control robot reference~ with renewed ground (wirebrush the 1/0 to the chassis) these codes may NOT show...that's what I'm countin' on~

the 5.7 has the spider injector known to have the pressure regulator on it start leaking. Have a fuel pressure and leakdown test done on it. If you could give the actual code and not the description that would help me out
