Code P0011 on VW Jetta wagon 2003
Second time the check engine light has come on. Repaired (or thought it was) about 3 months ago, but getting the same error code P0011. (12 the last time). Is this a timing problem and how much will it cost to repair. It jerks when first started but smooths out when driving. Occasionally has jerked even after driving for a half hour or more.
It say faulty camshaft sensor, di you change that part the last time it cane on? also says dirty oil or low oil level will throw the code, Check the connections..http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?carcode=1335428&parttype=2424&a=www.google.com%2BSearch%2Bfor%2B1962%2BFORD%2BF-100%2B4.8L%2B292cid%2BV8%2BElectrical%2BAlternator%2B%252F%2BGenerator%2BBrush&blanktemplate=true
Oil change and new spark plugs were installed. Not sure what else they did since it is all over my head. I do know they did not replace the sensor because they said it didn't look that bad.
Have them change the sensor and check the wires for a short...
