Vw Jetta 2002 5 speed .

My Jetta lost power when driving
.steering locked up,gas and breaks got
stiff. Now will not start ecp on dash.

ECP or Electronic Power control. You have to scan the car for the fault codes to determine why the car shut down. But don't replace any parts till you scan the car. At this point one would be guessing as to the cause. But you can check for the possibly of a shorted battery. Check the voltage. Should be 12.3V or higher.
