My jetta won't crank

Asked by May 14, 2018 at 06:29 AM about the 1999 Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought my 1999 Jetta Vr6 and drove it home
perfectly fine. Drove it to work no problem. Then
got home and about 45 minutes later I decide to
take it for a wash. Turn the key and it won't crank
over at all. I hear the fuel pump turn on and my
gauges work as usual. My check engine light is on
but it was on when I bought the car. Also my EPC
light is on now. I've replaced the Starter,  new
ignition switch, fuses are good, starter relay is
good, battery is good 100%. I'm not sure what is
going on.
