installed a new ignition housing/switch/cylinder after disconnecting battery two days before was able to hook it back up and now when i try to start all dash lights blink and wont even turn over

just replaced ignition housing/switch/cylinderwith new key and no new alarm but still have old key with alarm and trunk buttons and when i put the new key in and start turning all dash lights flash including. odomiter and tach #"s and all go blank when i try to start plz help

It has went into theft mode. You will have to call a locksmith to reset the system or have it towed to the dealer.

You need the dash gauges because the chip is in the dash that finds the key soupy need the gauges along with the matching ignition and key. Then the little flashing car on the dash with the key inside will go off.

I replaced 2012 Jetta lock housing and I attempted to put key cylinder back in and now it’s not turning or won’t come back out. Any suggestions
