Air conditioning Compressor replacement

AC compressor unit slowly went out on
my VW , can I just remove unit flush
system and replace compressor with
used one and be good ? Or do I need to
replace other AC parts as well that flush
won't get debris out of like a mechanic
said?

The accumulator and orifice tube if equipped should be changed also. The system should be flushed also.
