When i put it in second gear, it dosent respond fast. Why is this?

Whenever i hit it in second gear, it dosent respond fast?

Check the transmission oil. Also you may want to swing by an Autozone or somewhere similar and have them hook it up to a computer and see if they get any diagnostic codes.

Do you have a 5 speed and you are shifting into second? Or, are you putting it in 2 with an auto? 5-speed...can't help you. Auto- you are making it start in second gear and a lot of power is being lost to the torque converter instead of transferred to the road.
