Crank but doesn't start

94 jetta cranks but won't start, getting no fire to spark plugs. any suggestions please.

Start at the plugs and work your way back. Check the distributor cap and rotor, and that the distributor is turning. Then check your crank sensor. Check and ignition related fuses and relays.
