I have a 1999 Chevy suburban my brake lights won't turn off

I have a 1999 Chevy suburban that I recently replaced the power brake booster
and the brake lights switch and the brake lights stay on all the time I need some
help don't now what it could be anyone please

So lets start simple. There is an adjustment for the brake light switch. Did you make sure that the switch is fully depressed when the pedal is fully released? If not, screw it in to the mount until the switch is full depressed. If so, you could have the wrong switch. sometimes they get packaged improperly. Take a multi-meter and put it in "Buzz Mode. Pull the plug off the switch. Put you leads on the switch contacts and see if it buzzes. If it does, you have the wrong or a defective one.

This switch doesn't have an adjustment it just slips in the pedal rod and clips on the power booster rod
