You would need to ask a local mechanic regarding what it would cost to fix it. The head may be okay and it may need head gaskets or some other part. It would be best to have someone that knows vehicles look at it. Exterior cracks in cylinder heads on Chevys is not real common.

If the head is cracked you replace the head. Did you overheat the engine?
