how do you adjust the side mirrors?

we bought a 2002 VW Golf, we dont have the owners  manual yet and I can't see how to adjust the side mirrors

there is a small dial to the left on the door that will adjust it you can turn the dial to which mirror you want to adjust and the mirror defrost is in the middle between the R and L if you turn it all the way around it will be turned off

Hello Donnie, I have seen this small dial you are talking about. When I turn the dial to adjust the mirror, the mirror does not move. Do you think the mirro is off, or it is something else?

This is a power mirror. Make sure you have the key in the ignition. If it still don't work it needs to be serviced.
