Fuel tank overflow

Fuel comming out & onto ground after pumping a
full tank of gas. About half a gallon seeped out
from underneath cars tank at a fast rate but then
stopped. Is this normal?

You added to much fuel and I think it went into the Evap system next to the tank, You could have destroyed the evap system. You will know not know but possible in a few months when you try to fill your can the nozzle will always stop and you will have a hard time filling up the cat. for now let it dry out and never over fill your car again...
