Car won’t start

My cars volt light came on and a few hrs
later the airbag light came on and then I
felt it feeling as if it wanted to cut off n I
gunned the gas and came to a stop sign n
my car completely shut down on me

Sounds like the battery. Batteries usually show their age in the winter. I dont think its your alternator because gunning your car kept it going (because the RPMs were high, making more electricity), but once the car slowed down, so did the RPMs, and the alternator couldn't make enough electricity to keep you car going (that's where the battery normally fills in the gap). So yeah, long explanation cut short, bad battery.

a volt or batt. icon IS for the alt. you can test it or replace , the cars probably been running off the batt. so it may also be done for , at any rate don't let a new alt. charge a dead batt. make sure it's charged
