2002 cabrio convertible top

Why not just get the correct top? Unless you have done this before it really is a job for a pro. I have replaced a top and it is difficult but not impossible. My best advice is to have a helper and do it when the weather is warm so that the top material is more flexible.

I assume he wants the 2000 kit because the late 2001-2002 costs about 1.5 to 2.5 times as much- and it should have been a recall.

I'm also betting on that. I own the late 2002 Cabrio, and Everything for those models comes with a hugely inflated price tag. A top for all other years can be bought for less than 300.00. My top will cost more than 700.00. It definitely should have been a recall. I have read that All of these tops failed.
