key fob won't unlock door. how do I replace battery in key fob?

key fob won't unlock the locked doors.  Can battery in key fob be replaced?

There are two types of remotes for VW. You will need to unfold the key first and then pry open the battery lid thats on the side of the VW sticker/emblem.
