Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the battery on my dads2001  vw
cabrio. Now the radio is in safe mode how
do get the codes to fix it .an now the signal
lights dont work all the fuses are good how
would i fix that problem an the top above
the back glass has pulled apart lol my bad
its a convertable how would that be fixed
inexpensivly

you should have a owners manual with a code for the radio to reset, if not a local dealer might be able to give you the infoif you show proof of ownership, they can look this up for you

If you pop the radio unit out there is the reset code on the back of the unit. I took it in to a dealership the first time that happened to me then I did it myself after that. You need to do it every time the car goes dead. Smile pretty if you need help! They did it in under 5 minutes!
