Need help

Asked by Bernie Apr 19, 2016 at 04:26 PM about the 1999 Volkswagen Cabrio 2 Dr GL Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My problem is when I'm driving the car just die out.  I
replaced ignition coil already, tune up car, replaced
vacuum hose.  Still car dying on me.  Any suggestion I
can do? Pls help!

did you replace the fuel filter???ya never know.....

i would assume the check engine light is on , have you found out what codes are showing?

every one seems to be on the right track. Most common vw issues with stalling while driving is fuel related. so i would start at the pump and work my way forward. Easiest thing to replace is the fuel filter. if you been using anything but supreme it would most likely be clogged or ruined the pump.
