2001 VW Cabrio:- Cruise Control Module (ECU) is locate under driver side dash. Remove the trim cover over the fuse/relay panel. Get your head into a position so that you can look up and to the front of the dash. You will see a white or black module and a silver module. The silver module is the cruise ECU.
